Insomnia Sleeplessness - Overview
It is very important to have a deep sleep as it energizes the cells of the body to function again. Insomnia is the inability to get the required amount of sleep or fall asleep at night for many hours or unable to have a sound sleep. Even if you’re spending 8-10 hours a night in bed, if you feel tired and sluggish during the day, you may be experiencing insomnia. Insomnia during pregnancy is very normal and it affects approximately 78% of pregnant women.
Causes of Insomnia and Sleeplessness
There are varisous causes of insomnia & sleeplessness like low motivation or energy, anxiety & stress, mood disturbance, accidents, depression, certain types of medication, under active thyroid, long-term alcohol use, stressful or traumatic incident, unhealthy relationships and clots in brain’s blood vessels.
